I wanted to emphasize the passage of time in these drawings, and used certain elements to define their placement. I made a chart of a bunch of characteristics, many of which were used while annotating our agent viewpoints, and saw which ones were shared and vice versa. For example, The Wooden Match and the Steel Stacks/Arts Quest were both syntagmic in their uses while Brighton Courts is associative, so the drawing reflects that order. The abundance of ornament and detail on the left sides of the sketches gradually becomes absent as the drawing moves along, again showing the evolution and passing of time. There is significance to the sketches as well as more details that still need to be added or resolved, but the foundation is coming along since last week.
I based these current sketches off of Ella’s and the analogous city drawing in terms of the perspectives and layout.
