Floors 1-3 of Brighton Court were built in 1886 and the upper floor and west wing were added in 1889. Designed by Robert Sayre, it is influenced by Victorian and Queen Anne styles. It was used as offices by the railroad company until 1976 when they were absorbed by ConRail that year. They were downsized and still functioned as office space until 1983, when it was converted into apartments. The red brick building features copper bay windows, a brick entrance arch, and ornament along the roof and top floor windows.

As an apartment building, it offers views of the nearby Lehigh River and Hill to Hill Bridge with train lines near the building. Inside, units have hardwood flooring and natural light due to the large windows, high ceilings, and new appliances. Houses border the building on the west side, with another old railroad building and busy Wyandotte/Hill to Hill Bridge to the east.
