I started my residence the same way that I did with the graveyard using topographical data. To my surprise the grade that I made the foundation on matched the topographical terrain very nicely. With the general shape, site, placement, and scale all more or less figured out, I’m working on detailing it true to its original state as seen in Evan’s photograph. Luckily the photograph is scanned in super high resolution so I can zoom and and get a pretty good feel for the façade when sifting through the hodgepodge of existing current façade. With the technical aspects behind me, I’m just working to bring the building to its original depiction as seen in the photo.
